AcademyOS Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of AcademyOS, the web and mobile platform for managing football academies, sports schools and training centers. AcademyOS is a service of [MSLARCO legal name], tax ID (RUC) [number], located at [address], Ecuador ("MSLARCO", "we").

By creating an account or using the platform you accept these terms. If you accept them on behalf of an academy, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.

1. What AcademyOS is

AcademyOS lets an academy manage its player roster, age groups and seasons, its staff and its relationship with families, on the web and in the app. The features available depend on the modules active in each academy; features announced as "Soon" are not yet part of the service.

2. Accounts and access

  • Each person uses their own account with a verified email address. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change it and let us know.
  • One account may belong to several academies, always by invitation from each of them.
  • What each person can see and do inside an academy depends on the profile the academy assigns to them.

3. The academy and its responsibilities

The academy that signs up for AcademyOS ("the academy", "the customer"):

  • Is the data controller for the personal data of its players, families and staff that it uploads to the platform. MSLARCO acts as data processor and processes that data only to provide the service.
  • Confirms that it has a legal basis to upload that data and, for children and adolescents, the consent of their mother, father or legal guardian where the law requires it.
  • Decides whom to invite, which profiles and permissions to assign and when to deactivate a person.
  • Keeps the data it uploads accurate and handles requests from its players and families about their data, with our help where appropriate.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Upload personal data without the right to do so, or false data about third parties.
  • Use the platform to harass, discriminate against or endanger anyone, especially minors.
  • Try to access another academy's data, breach security, reverse engineer or overload the service.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without written authorization.

We may suspend an account or an academy that breaks these rules, giving notice beforehand whenever possible.

5. Plans, trial and payments

The conditions of the plans, the trial period and billing are published in the pricing section and are accepted when subscribing. Until a plan is purchased, the academy uses the service under the terms of the current trial.

6. Intellectual property

AcademyOS, its code, design and brand belong to MSLARCO. The academy keeps ownership of the data and files it uploads and allows us to host and process them only to provide the service.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the platform continuously available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We will give advance notice of scheduled maintenance that affects its use.

8. End of service and data

The academy may stop using AcademyOS at any time. When it does, it may request an export of its data for [period] days; after that period we will delete or anonymize it, except for what the law requires us to keep.

9. Liability

The service is provided with professional diligence. To the extent permitted by law, MSLARCO is not liable for indirect damages or for sporting, medical or financial decisions the academy makes based on the information in the platform. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted by consumer protection law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or within the platform at least [period] days in advance. Continuing to use AcademyOS after that date means accepting the new version.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of [city].
